For Next Page: Monami Biswas is a masters student who enrolled at the University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom in January this year, Biswas does not know where and how she got infected but learned that she had contracted coronavirus within hours of landing in Kolkata in March. She was the third person to test positive for COVID-19 in the state. After a successful treatment Biswas was discharged from Beliaghata ID Hospital on March 31 after recovery and was put into home quarantine for 14 days. She was among the first in West Bengal to be cured of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), has become the first plasma donor in the state.  The plasma would be used during the clinical trial  on the efficacy of the therapy in the treatment of Covid-19.
