GENERAL NOTICE

BARASAT GOVERNMENT COLLEGE

IQAC meeting

Participants: Principal,TCS, IQAC members, Heads of all departments.

Agenda: 1. Confirmation of the minutes of the previous meeting.

                2. Proposals from IQAC for the next academic year.

The main points:

1.      IQAC member, Ms. Arpita Sengupta proposed that State Government pollution control board may be contacted to provide low cost solar energy panels for lighting up the college.

2.      Higher education minister may be approached to arrange the adjoining field as a football ground for the college students.

3.      Dr. Samrajee Dutta suggested to arrange an appointment with the Higher Education Minister to provide a plot of land for starting a girls hostel for the college students.

4.      All the members agreed that renovation of the annexe building and installing an elevator for the building is essential.

5.      From the coming session class duration is to be of 1 hour instead of 45 minutes.
