Who doesn’t love the Adda opportunities? The College Canteen provides variety of foods at a subsidized rate and also offers the platform for informal bonding between peers and stakeholders of the institution.

Barasat Government College has a well-established canteen in the campusforstudents and staff from different departments. It is located in the back side of annex building. The environment in the canteen is clean and hygienic.It provides tasty, healthy, and affordable food items. The canteen has sufficient sitting arrangements and a water purification system. The rates charged for various food products are checked and approved by the college administration. The canteen committee routinely monitor the functioning of the canteen. It is approved by the FSSAI: Food Safety & Standard Authority of India.
