Code of conduct

  1. Students are advised to be punctual and to attend all lectures regularly.
  2. Under the University Notifications No. CSR/64/99, a candidate shall be considered as Collegiate if he/she attends 75% of lectures in any subject, and as non-Collegiate if attendance in any subject falls short of 75% but not below 60%. A candidate who has not attended at least 60% of lectures shall be considered Dis-collegiate and shall be debarred from appearing at any examination. Further, students defaulting on regular payment of fees would be considered discontinued and names of such students would be removed from the college register.
  3. After the completion of admission, a student is required to collect his / her identitycard from the college office. Students are required to carry their Identity Cardbearing their photographs.
  4. Without Identity Card no student will be allowed toenter the College Campus.
  5. Smoking and spitting are forbidden on the college premises.
  6. Any student found guilty of damaging college property or of any other form of indiscipline like writing on / defacing walls will be severely punished.
  7. All college excursions or outings require the prior permission from the principal.
  8. Medium of Instruction for the Honours Courses is English (excluding languages).
  9. Cycles, bikes or cars shall be parked at the owner's responsibility.
  10. Outsiders need prior permissions to enter the college premises.
